Guidelines
Children 12 and under are always free at Blues
Blast. Coolers or outside food and beverages may
not be brought into the Amphitheatre, but sealed
bottles of water are permitted. BBQ and other concessions will be available for purchase. Bring a
blanket for festival seating ... lawn chairs are OK
in selected areas of the Amphitheatre. Video cameras
are not permitted, but still cameras may be used.

One of the first blues festivals of the calendar year in
the United States is Blues Blast 2010 on
February 27th. Hosted annually by the
Phoenix Blues Society, Blues Blast takes place in the beautiful
grassy-sloped
Mesa Amphitheatre.
Appearing at Blues Blast 2010 will
be Big James & The Chicago Playboys, Candye Kane, The
Insomniacs, The Sugar Thieves, The Jump Back Brothers,
and Arthur Migliazza & Tom Walbank. The show
will start at 11:00 am; gates will open at 10:00 am.
The
Arizona Lindy Hop Society will be providing a dance floor and
dance lessons at Blues Blast in keeping with this year's theme of
"Doing the Blues Blast Bop."

Tickets
are now on sale. Order
online from the
Mesa Amphitheatre or call 480-644-2560.
The
Phoenix Mesa Marriott is the host hotel and
there is a $99.00 Blues Blast rate. The Marriott is the old Sheraton and is
right next to the Mesa Amphitheatre. Attendees can call them at (800)
835-9873 and use reservation code "BLUBLUA" to get the rate.
