If you are also seeking freshness at the start of the day like me, I strongly suggest you pay attention to what are the things that you are eating first thing in the morning. Many times we are running the race against time and settling for comfortable and easily available rather than healthy when it comes to having breakfast. For many of us it is a struggle to actually eat something, be it anything, rather than thin k of the health and nutritional value of what it is that we are consuming in the process.
Do not get all worked up since I am not at all blaming you in fact if anything, I absolutely understand what you are going through. The working life is not at all what it is made to be when we are kids. The challenged of contemporary working life styles challenge our health every moment of the day. Well, I guess in such a bleak scenario, it is nothing less than a ray of hope that with slight changes in at least the breakfast routine, if not every meal, like introducing a quinoa salad, you can actually introduce a shift in your health over a long period of time.
My kids love their mother (me) for many reasons, one of which is the spaghetti sauce that I cook for them at home. I am sorry but I am not exaggerating here. The evidence that I have is their mother’s day card for this year. They did not forget to mention a thank you note for the sauce within their wish for a happy mother’s day to me. It was adorable of them to note the things that I do for them. We often forget to appreciate each other in our busy lives. This little appreciation is like a memory that I will cherish for ever in my life.
It acted as such a beautiful reminder that I need to start paying attention to saying a thank you as well as accepting all the love that was coming my way. We have been through some rough time in our lives with my husband losing his job during the financial crisis and all. But I guess I needed to understand that my kid’s in their innocence retained all the love in their hearts and did not forget to say that they love us even when I and my husband kind of forgot in all the stress.
After I welcomed a beautiful baby boy, the happiness from my life soon turned to worry because of the realization of how difficult it was to loose all the post pregnancy fat that I had accumulated over nine months of pregnancy. The onus has increased many times now that the society is all about keeping healthy and maintaining you in order to be accepted in the world of modeling which is my profession. Being a model for many years before I decided to settle down with my husband and then having a baby forms a major part of my life that I have lived as a grown up.
It is a part of me which will always stay. There was a certain lifestyle that I had become used to which is perhaps the main reason that I found this phase of my life so hard hitting. I wanted to stay healthy to feed my baby but also wanted to get rid of extra fat at the earliest. Since I had restricted my diet to only home cooked food, I asked for advice from my mother and other friends who had been through this phase of life. The resounding option that I heard about was including low fat and low calories corn casserole dish into my diet.
